Answers to the common questions regarding RSPO Training in general

  • The RSPO P&C Training focuses on the Principle and Criteria of RSPO Standard

The Full RSPO Training is meant for the new auditors and anyone else who wishes to learn about RSPO Certification.

 

While the RSPO Refresher Training is meant for Lead Auditor who have successfully completed the Full Training and anyone else who need Refreshment regarding RSPO Certification every 3 years.

Prior to the training date, participants will get pre-read materials and agenda for the training.

After the completion of the training, participants will get the training modules and a certificate depends on their final evaluation result.

  • If they passed the passing grade, they will get a Certified Certificate.
  • If they did not passed the passing grade, they will get an Attendance Certificate.

Choose the type of training, region and language that suit your needs.

The maximum quota for each training is 25 participants per class.

Payment only available through Bank Transfer.

The details of the bank will be provided in the invoice.

No, it is not eligible as Checkmark Training do not associated with any of HRDF Programme.

RSPO P&C Training

Answers to the common questions regarding the RSPO P&C Training

Anyone who are willing to learn more about the RSPO Certification is allowed to join the training.

 

Here are some examples of who should attend the training:

  • Sustainability Team of Oil Palm Growers.
  • Oil Palm Managers and Assistant Managers.
  • Internal Auditors, RSPO Co-ordinators and HR Resource Managers within any company.
  • RSPO approved Certification Bodies.
  • RSPO Consultation Services

The course content of the RSPO P&C Training as follows:

  • Updated RSPO information & Issues
  • The process of RSPO certification.
  • RSPO Certification Systems Standard Ed November 2020
  • RSPO P& C and related standards/references
  • National Interpretation
  • Explanation of each indicator in RSPO P&C Standard Version 2018 & practical guidance as to how to demonstrate the compliance
  • Common NC  vs Suspension: Case study group and practical guidance as to how to close out non-compliances and avoid suspension
  • Practical guidance as to how to conduct internal and third-party audits.
  • Reporting

The specific venue for the training (i.e. name of the hotel) will be informed later by email.

It will be informed no later than one month prior to the training date.

RSPO SCC Training

Answers to the common questions regarding the RSPO SCC Training

  • It is one of the necessary qualifications for all new RSPO SCC Auditors.
  • It is also applicable to all employees of any Certification Body.
  • Delegates with any interest in learning about the RSPO SCC are welcome to join.

The course content for the RSPO SCC Training :

  • Summary of the supply chain form Oil Palm to end product.
  • Unit of certification. Claims and Communication.
  • Supply Chain Models. IP. SG. MB and BC. Palm Trace.
  • Multi-site certification. Group Certification. Food service companies. Micro-users.
  • General SCC requirements.
  • RSPO Rules on Market Communication and Claims.
  • Oleochemicals.
  • RSPO SCC Systems and audit techniques.

Currently the RSPO SCC Training only available for Online Course. 

Face to Face Training will be available upon request and if the participant number is reaching the minimum quota.

Refresher Training

Answers to the common questions regarding the RSPO Refresher Training

Refresher Training is open for anyone who have attended and successfully completed a Full RSPO P&C Training.

Certificate from the previous Full RSPO P&C Training must be provided upon registration.

Following RSPO Certification Standard:

  • No, it is not mandatory for Growers to attend the Refresher Training.
  • Yes, it is mandatory for Lead Auditor who have successfully completed a Full Training to attend the Refresher Training every 3 years.

Currently the Refresher Training only available for Online Course.

Registration

Answers to the common questions regarding registration process for the training

You can register for the upcoming training by filling out the registration form.

The registration form is available on the main article of the training, News & Event page on RSPO website  or by asking the Contact Person.

The last submission for registration form is 1 - 2 (one up to two) weeks prior to the training. 

Yet, it can be closed earlier if the quota have met the maximum number.

After submission of the registration form, you will get a welcome mail with invoice as attachment.

Usually it takes 1 - 2 (one to two) working days for issuing the invoice.

Training Fees

Answers to the common questions regarding training fees for the training

No, it does not include participants travel costs (transportation and accomodation).

We are not responsible for the participants travel costs and give freedom for them to choose and reserve their own travel plan.

No, but the amount in the invoice is nett amount without any further deductions. 

As Checkmark Training are delivering the training globally and there are various regulation for each country, thus the tax will be borne to the participants company.
  • For the RSPO P&C Training in Asia, there is 10% discount for companies who sent 2 (two) or more delegates
  • For the RSPO SCC Training, there is 10% discount for companies who sent 3 (three) or more delegates
  • RSPO P&C Training in Latin America, there is no discount for the training fees

For participants who register independently, you need to communicate with the trainer regarding the discount

You need to discuss this matter with the trainer. 

Also it requires a Guarantee Letter which mention the estimation date of the payment and it must be sent prior to the training date.

REFUND

Answers to the common questions regarding refund process for the training

  • Cancellation more than 2 (two) weeks before the training date will be refunded 50% of the paid training fees
  • Cancellation within and less than 2 (two) weeks before the training date is not refundable

Yes, participants will get refund  100% of the paid training fees.

Checkmark Training will give an official statement through email prior to postponement or cancellation of the training.

The notification will be sent no later than 2 (two) weeks before the training date.

No, but you can send another delegate as substitute for the current training or you can join the next upcoming training.

Evaluation

Answers to the common questions regarding the Evaluation for the training

The Evaluation will be based on attendance, case studies, quizzes and final exam.

For Full RSPO Training, participants must passed the pre-exam before joining the class.

The passing grade for all assesments evaluation is 70% 

Yes, there is remedial for pre-exam and final exam. 

But there will be no remedial for quizzes.

The evaluation will calculated with the formula of :

  • 10% score from attendance and case studies
  • 20% score from quizzes
  • 70% score from the final exam

Normally the result for final evaluation will be out 1 week after the final exam.

Participants will be informed by email if the result will come out late or earlier.

Yes, there will be one time only remedial.

It is free of charge for the RSPO P&C Training in Asia.

But there will be additional fees for the RSPO SCC and RSPO P&C Training in Latin America
